Welcome to Lost in Motherhood!

At Lost in Motherhood, we celebrate the beautiful messiness of parenting. Here, you can be real.

My names Sierra, and I am a Mom.

Just remember before becoming a Mom you were YOU! as simple & as complicated as this sounds I'm sure every Mom can relate! Weather it's our significant other, doctors, family, school even us ourselves... we are seen as only a Mom, a chef, a nurse, a nanny, a made, a taxi, a cheerleader the list goes on. Its not often, if ever we are seen for who we really are! & honestly who the hell are we? Because outside of being a mom I have no idea who I am, what I like, what I don't like, or what purpose I have in this life. With this being said please don't for one second think I don't love my Children, because I do! More than life itself. I wouldn't trade all the chaos for all the calm in the world! My Children are the best things that have ever happened to me in this lifetime and any other. but how are we supposed to be the best "mom" if we aren't our best selves! We shouldn't have to only be a mom 24/7 and be shamed for taking an hour a day to ourselves! We need that hour to regroup, to breath, to laugh, to remember who we are, or find out who the hell we are to begin with. You see Mom shaming all over social media, in homes, schools & doctors if kids are loved, they know and feel loved, cared for, safe, succeeding etc then why aren't we allowed to be a kick ass mom! And a damn good "Sierra!" I'm new to this blog thing and my life is full of chaos, so bare with me I'll be bouncing all over from subject to subject, I'll cover damn near ever high and definitely speak on everything low! Thank you for taking the time to read! I hope I've already made some of you beautiful mommas feel less alone in this world and I've captured your interest to come back for some more!
